Jan Lindsay was called to the BC bar in 1981 and joined Lindsay Kenney LLP as an associate shortly thereafter. She has been a partner since 1989. Jan's practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance litigation. When Lindsay Kenney LLP opened its Langley office in 1991, Jan moved her practice to the Fraser Valley where her practice now focuses on defence of personal injury claims, including coverage and liability issues and disputes.

Jan was born in Vancouver, BC. She obtained a Bachelor of Laws in 1980 at the University of British Columbia and was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1981.

Jan sat on the Complainants Review Committee from 2000-2003 and the Discipline Committee in 2005 for the Law Society of British Columbia. In 2006 she was successful in a by-election and is currently one of three Benchers representing Westminster County.

Jan is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's Automobile Insurance Committee. She has been co-chair of the Continuing Legal Education Personal Injury Conference for several years and has participated in other Continuing Legal Education programs. She has done volunteer work for the Langley Children's Society, Variety Club, Langley Minor Hockey Association and the Langley Boys Softball Association.
