Scott Urquhart is an associate in the General Litigation department of our Vancouver office. He practices primarily in the areas of builders liens, commercial disputes, fraud litigation, estate litigation, and personal injury.
Scott acts for both plaintiffs and defendants and has appeared before all levels of British Columbia's courts, and as counsel before the Workers Compensation Board and Human Rights Tribunal. He advises his clients as to the most cost-effective means by which they can obtain the results they seek, either through negotiation or litigation.
Scott joined Lindsay Kenney in 2007 after beginning his law career at a downtown insurance defence firm. He was a teacher for several years on Vancouver Island before attending law school at the University of British Columbia where he won the Joseph Prodor Prize in Torts, the Davis & Company Prize in Appellate Advocacy, and the Borden Ladner Gervais Prize in Conflicts.
