Tiffany Tsang joined the firm in 2000 and is an associate in our Vancouver office. Tiffany practices insurance defence, with an emphasis on defending personal injury claims arising out of motor vehicle accidents and occupier liability claims. She appears in BC Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of BC and BC Provincial Court and is frequently involved in resolution of claims through alternative dispute resolution.

The highlights of her achievements to date include:

• obtained a jury verdict of nil damage award in the defence of a motor vehicle accident personal injury claim, and costs;
• successfully defended, in the BC Court of Appeal, an appeal of motor vehicle liability by Plaintiff;
• successfully defended an Insurer in a first party claim for insurance coverage on the basis of material misrepresentation;
• successfully compelled production of Plaintiff's records and information where privilege was claimed;
• successfully applied to remove actions commenced by Plaintiff under Rule 66 Fast Track Litigation to make way for trial by jury.
