Once again, Lindsay Kenney participated in the annual HOOPLAW Charity basketball tournament. One of the largest fundraising events in the legal community, this one day event takes place every September with more than 25 participating teams. The tournament provides an unique opportunity for law students, lawyers and other legal professionals to work together to support local charities. It’s also a great way to build camaraderie and enjoy some healthy competition with peers.
This year’s tournament raised more than $90,000 to support three lower mainland charities, primarily focused on youth in the community, including NightHoops, Children’s Hearing and Speech Centre, and Aboriginal Hippy (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters).
