HoopLaw Charity Basketball

Community

Lindsay Kenney participated in the 18th annual HoopLaw Charity Basketball Tournament in support of the Children’s Hearing and Speech Centre of BC , Night Hoops, CLICK, and SUCCESS.  Night Hoops provides basketball, equipment, and life skills to children throughout the lower mainland who would otherwise not be able to afford organized sports. CLICK provides support and funding for various programs for inner city children. SUCCESS helps refugees integrate and thrive in BC. The team raised $2,000 and the tournament contributed close to $80,000 to the charities in 2017.

Members of the legal community gather annually for this one day event with competitive and recreational teams providing solid competition for everyone.  The fundraiser is a unique opportunity for law students, lawyers and other legal professionals to work together to give back to the community and make a difference in the lives of children in need.
