LK Law Associates presented to a group of young lawyers of the Canadian Bar Association on October 26th. The topic was practice tips and traps in the area of Wills and Estates.
They discussed their respective solicitor and litigator’s perspectives of Wills and Estate Law. They covered subtopics such as important inquiries to make at the outset of estate planning; how to evaluate the strength of a potential estate litigation claim; and other relevant issues such as mental incapacity, undue influence, spousal status and blended families. Also covered were practical tips for drafting Wills and other planning documents.
