What you can expect:

We currently have an opening for a Corporate Services Manager. This role will be based in our Langley office. As this individual will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Corporate Services department in both our Langley and Vancouver offices, it will require some travel between locations. Depending on experience and knowledge, the core responsibilities of the role will be, but not limited to:

  • Supervising, mentoring, training and coaching Corporate Services staff members
  • Analyzing department statistics, creating monthly reports for management 
  • Maintaining ALF database
  • Assistance in creating department procedures, policies, precedents and checklists
  • Assistance in creating and monitoring department budget(s)
  • Creating department business goals and plans
  • Preparing and overseeing completion of senior-level corporate transactions 
  • Acting as point of contact for corporate client inquiries 
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements, providing input on corporate compliance matters

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 10 years’ of experience as a Paralegal in a busy Corporate practice
  • Minimum 3 years’ of training and management experience  
  • A Paralegal Certificate or Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Proficient with MS Word and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work in independently and in a team environment
  • Fluency in ALF
