Intermediate Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant
We currently have an opening in our Langley office for an Intermediate Legal Administrative Assistant in our General Litigation Department. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Standard Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft various correspondence and documents
- Organize files, binders, client documents, and other file related materials
- Liaise between client and opposing counsel
- Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, discoveries, mediations, and trials
- Open new files and prepare files for closing
- Other administrative duties as required
Qualifications
- 4 + years of experience in general litigation
- Strong knowledge of court rules and procedures
- A Legal Administrative Assistant certificate from a recognized institution
- Excellent computer skills (MS Word and Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast paced environment
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
