Congratulations to Kerry-Lynne D. Findlay

Hon. Kerry-Lynne D. Findlay, QC, PC was named a Distinguished Citizen by the Alpha Gamma Delta International Women’s Fraternity at their 49th International Convention in July. Ms. Findlay was recognized in the field of public service.

A former Minister of National Revenue, Ms. Findlay held one of the most significant posts within the Federal Cabinet. Other posts included Associate Minister of National Defence and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minster of Justice and Attorney General for Canada.  As Parliamentary Secretary, she was responsible for spearheading the passage of several justice reform bills through the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights. Ms. Findlay was first elected as an MP for Delta-Richmond East in 2011 further to her impressive legal career in British Columbia.

Ms. Findlay has been member of the Alpha Gamma Delta organization since her UBC days.  Alpha Gamma Delta is an International Women’s Fraternity that promotes academic excellence, philanthropic giving, ongoing leadership and personal development and above all, a spirit of loving sisterhood.
