The LK Social Committee organized our donations for the holiday season providing cash, boxes filled with food, baby items, and warm winter apparel for the Langley Food Bank.
A successful bake sale, by the talented staff in our Langley office, raised $800 for local seniors at the Langley Lodge. The donation presented to CEO Debra Hauptman, will be used to provide special bacon breakfasts, a few essentials, high tea for the ladies, along with materials for a knitting club.
The Langley Lodge under the administration of the Langley Care Society was opened in 1974 to provide care for seniors in the community. With a focus on quality of life, the Lodge follows the The Eden approach to care in an effort to eliminate loneliness, helplessness, and boredom, and aims to improve the well-being of Elders by transforming communities in which they live.
