The BC Court of Appeal has overturned a lower court ruling which had determined that a woman waited too long to sue a friend she had lent money to after a lottery win. Lindsay Kenney Partner, Tim Goepel successfully appealed the case on the grounds that there was a valid enforceable agreement to extend the date of repayment, and that the action was commenced within time.
