Generally speaking we don’t recommend that people represent themselves. Self representation is very difficult. The court system is very difficult to navigate, generally, for the lay litigant. However, Lindsay Kenney does believe in access to justice, so what we offer is unbundled family law services. For example someone might come in with a disparate issue of a separation, so we will assist them in drafting a separation agreement and deal with only that issue. We like to take our clients through all the potential options that they have at the outset, so that they’re really aware of what kind of opportunities they have to explore a resolution, which is ultimately the goal.
